Annual Trip: to Washington DC
The Youth Group supports the parish through many of their activities. The focus of the Youth Group is their charity outreach, as well as building relationships within the Group. They generally meet the third Friday of each month at 7pm in either St. Joseph’s Hall or the Kitchen, of the church. Please visit the Youth Calendar on our Parish Schedules page for more specifics about meeting dates and times. They are active during the school year, from September through May, and focus during the year on raising money to support a charity of their choice and funding an educational trip for the group.
The St. Peter’s Youth Group is a wonderful way for teens to share fellowship with their peers and develop long-lasting relationships. Meetings and activities remind members of their focus on God by beginning and ending with prayer and thanksgiving, but most of the meeting is spent on fun and friendship. Activities have a religious and educational context, but leaders and members ensure that providing a positive social experience and developing a supportive community is first priority. Check out a slide show of their 2015 trip to New York City for a taste of the group’s activities.
