Carla Pierce, our Parish Administrator, is often the person that answers the phone when you call St. Peter’s for information. Her jobs are varied, and very important to us. She creates the weekly bulletin, the weekly e-newsletter, manages the parish prayer list, and communicates this information to the parish. Carla also communicates regularly with the Senior and Junior Wardens and committee chairs to make sure that everyone is informed about what is happening around the church. With all that happens in the daily life of the parish, Carla is the essential glue that keeps everything together.
Greg Fraser was born into a musical family, where he started taking piano lessons at age 6. Later on, he added voice lessons to his musical education, and participated in amateur and semi-professional choirs throughout his grade school and college years. He later began singing in local operetta productions, going on to become a music director for several Washington area theater groups. We are thrilled to have had him here at St. Peter’s since the summer of 1999, when he began his tenure as music director. As music director, Greg leads our choir and plays the organ for our services.
Barrington Sweeney is St. Peter’s Sexton. He cares for the buildings and grounds of St. Peter’s daily under the guidance of the Junior Warden. He can be counted on to do everything from trimming trees to clearing snow. He is an essential part of our life here at St. Peter’s.
